Community Inclusion

Our Day Programs provide quality community activities for people with disability around choice and individual needs.

Day Program’s offers a variety of activities which enhance community participation, inclusion and supporting people with disability with dignity and respect.

Our current activities focus on learning, social links, friendships, a sense of belonging and community inclusion.

Day programs vary enormously to meet a wide range of individual needs and interests. Some of our activities include:

  • Preparing meals for friends and family
  • Attending classes in arts and crafts
  • Accessing the community facilities such using public transport, shopping, visiting the library and having a cuppa
  • Increasing computer and internet skills
  • Going for a regular swim and spa at the local pool
  • Spending time with a friend
  • Enjoying an individual gym and fitness program
  • Developing personal and social skills
  • Enrolling in our Community Education Program to increase reading, writing, maths and communication skills.

To participate in our Day Program, people need to be registered with the Department of Human Services as having a disability.
