Community Inclusion

Our Futures program provides support for young people with disability 18-21 years when leaving school.

Futures supports young people to further their skills, self esteem and confidence when moving from school to employment, volunteer work, further education and training, or to become part of our specialised Day Program.

Some of the Futures’ activities at Shepparton Access include:

  • Exploring work options and looking for work
  • Enjoying work experience and voluntary work with local businesses
  • Increasing skills to enable community inclusion
  • Building confidence and promoting self advocacy
  • Enrolling in our Community Education courses, or courses at Community Houses or Goulburn Valley TAFE
  • Trying other ideas and interests

Our Futures Program is for young people with a disability aged 18-21 who are eligible for the Department of Human Services Futures for Young Adults funding.
