Community Education

Shepparton Access believes in people and what they can achieve

Shepparton Access supports people to become included in the community.
We are passionate about empowering people to make a difference to their lives.
People are encouraged to reach for their goals, fulfil their potential while having the freedom to dream.

Our Community Education Program offers a wide range of learning opportunities for people within our local community.

Some of our courses are accredited, while others are non-accredited.

Community Education is a terrific step on the path to lifelong learning.  Community Education can also support people who are looking for work, wanting to increase their literacy and numeracy skills or have an interest in hospitality or horticulture.

Our education programs provide support and encouragement to learners to achieve personal goals in small groups in a friendly environment.

At Shepparton Access we can support people to participate in learning programs within our local community. GO TAFE, neighbourhood houses and community centres run a range of interesting and stimulating learning programs such as computer classes and creative arts.
Courses available at Shepparton Access include:

Certificate I in Initial Literacy and Numeracy - Course Code 21890VIC

CIALN gives learners an opportunity to develop skills for everyday living in the areas of reading, writing, numeracy and communication

Certificate I Work Education – Course Code 22128VIC

Work Education aims to develop social and personal skills relevant to participation in employment or training.  It provides learners with knowledge and skills to enhance their continued education and employment opportunities.
